By combining some doodles generated here and there over several months, I have produced a pulp science fiction paperback cover, for reasons that undoubtedly seemed compelling at the time. The telepathic protagonist and his young protégé are giving their attention to their goofy alien sidekick at lower left, but perhaps the master is becoming aware of the sinister danger lurking behind them...

The cranky E.T. in the background is called Len, partly because of the pun inherent in the name (spell it out), but mostly because he looks like a bitter old guy and Len seems to fit him.
