While rescuing a box of my grandfather's slides from a basement flood recently, I found an old Koh-i-noor mechanical pencil, which I brought with me to the diner tonight. Due to the thickness of the lead, bold strokes seemed appropriate. The drawing below combines a doodle I made in the upper right corner of the page with one I made in the lower left corner. (The page in question is a diner placemat, folded in half.)
