Missed this entry. However, I got a lot of house cleaning done, to the extent that Laura and I could invite some friends over for Memorial Day without embarrassing ourselves. One of the best parts of the evening was sitting on the deck with a sliver of a crescent moon in the sky occasionally showing through the clouds, playing drums, and listening to the peeping frogs. I installed Stellarium, an open source astronomy program, on my laptop, but sadly it was too cloudy a night for stargazing...
