Monday, May 22nd, 2006 I missed two entries in a row here, including this one; some part of it was due to GVCH, but most of it was slacking off. By the way, my advice to anyone trying to apply postage to postcards rapidly using a Pitney Bowes Mailstation without smearing the postmarks is to set up a small tray with a hairdryer rigged over it. The hairdryer should be set to a medium setting and pointed at the corner of the tray where the postmarks on the cards will come to rest. (A coathanger or two can be twisted to provide appropriate support and aiming.) As always, if you try this and set something on fire or flood a major city, you are soley responsible for any damage, not I. |
