Sorry, I missed this entry. I'll have something on Friday night...

Update: The 'something' I have tonight has turned out to be a short paragraph... I was getting some VCR tapes out of storage recently and found some 'bootleg' tapes of very early Mystery Science Theater episodes. These are the KTMA episodes (after the station that first commissioned and broadcast MST3K), and the creators have suggested that folks not watch these episodes because they're really not very good; it's just them learning how to be good. I find I have two good reasons for watching them: One is to see how they got from where they were then to where they are now. The other is to see that it is in fact possible to get somewhere from this sort of beginning. As I publically fumble my way towards Bune Station, I need to remind myself that creative projects are organic; they don't spring like Athena from one's forehead, but are slowly and often painfully assembled from bits of one's life and research. And since it can't be guaranteed that the goal will be worth the effort, the journey has to count for something as well...

Until!
