This surreal view shows a square slab which represents a portion of a mesa ceded to the human protagonists by the native sentients of Eio. Toundier's house is the dome with domelets affair in the upper middle. Leiske's house is under construction and is seen in two slipper-like versions, floating in the sky.

Each of the human inhabitants has built her/his own dwelling, and these dwellings thus reveal much about their personalities. I don't want to reveal too much too soon, as some of this will likely be story material, but I think it will be of interest to show some architectural details and my thoughts thereon, and this will form the basis of my catch-up article this weekend.
